Te Reo Maori - Emotions

Today we learned the words in Te Reo Maori for different feelings and emotions.  We used that information to create a Google drawing using emojis.

Tower Construction

Tanner, Bill and Kingston worked collaboratively on the first day back at school to construct a tower.

Erika's Rubber Egg Science Experiment!

Procedure:

First we had to put the egg in the cup carefully.	Then once we had put the egg in we had to put some vinegar in sothe egg was covered.	This is the egg after we had left it in the vinegar after 4 days. The shell was gone but it wasn’t really transparent.
This is the first time we dropped the egg but it did not bounce as much as I thought it would.	This is the egg once we dropped the egg from higher heights. It smashed.

Erika's Lava Lamp Experiment!

Procedure:

We had to pour in vegetable oil till it was ¾ full.	Then we had to fill up the rest with water.	This is the water with the oil, all the water is sitting at the bottom.
Then we had to put the food colouring in the water and oil.	This is the food colouring just starting to mix.	Then when we put in the polident - this is what happened.
