Landscape Art With Watercolours

This term's art focus is painting.  Room 18 had fun painting these colourful landscapes using watercolour paints, focusing on creating different shades by using more or less water on their brush to create a lighter or darker shade.  They look awesome and we were all very proud of them!

  1. kia ora,Wow,this is some amazing art!.It made me think about candy land. Next time you could add patterns like blue hills with green strips.I was thinking how long it would take to do this and would it look good if you used dye instead of water colour paint?

  2. kia-ora, my name is Brianna and I'm from Oruaiti School! I really like the colours you picked for this art work. It reminds me of one of Hundertwasserhaus's pieces. One thing I would change is, adding more to your "about me' section. My class was trying to figure out where your school was.It was hard, but I made a guess it was in a city.

  3. Hi my name is Madison. I loved how you didn't get it all messy.
You could sell this as a masterpiece.
Maybe explain what you did and how you did it.

These landscapes are beautiful and abstract, they remind me of modern art, these pictures also give you a specific feeling ,these are truly beautiful. I hope that in the future you can have more in you're description of what you did. I have two questions for you, 1. Would you be able to create more of a description?
    2. If we were to start a thread what would you like me to refer to you as?
